Family Tracker is a family location-sharing app. Every member installs the app on their own device and shares their location with their family only after giving explicit consent inside the app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
We collect location in the background only while you are a family member and have granted tracking consent. A permanent, non-dismissable notification is shown whenever location tracking is active — you are always aware you are being tracked.
Solely to show family members on a map and their current status inside the app. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Processing is based on your consent, given on your own device.
You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Track my location,
which immediately stops location recording.
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Google may process it on servers located outside the European Union under its standard data-protection terms.
You can access, correct, and delete your data. To delete your account and all
associated data, use Settings → Delete account and data in the app, or
follow the instructions on our
account deletion page. Withdrawal of consent and
deletion are as easy as granting consent.
The current version is intended for adults who consent for themselves. Location tracking of children requires verifiable parental consent and is not enabled in this version.
